Auburn University Montgomery Transfer Agreement

Check the transmission equivalency tables to see if the course is already in our database (see link). If the course is not in our system, please talk to your academic advisor to have the course evaluated before taking it to ensure AU credits. The simplest explanation is that an articulation agreement is a binding agreement between two institutions that guarantees a successful transfer to the institution of four years. The agreements define the courses and grades that will be transferred to the four-year institution to ensure that students can better plan their training work to meet their future educational programs. Most of our articulation agreements guarantee students direct admission to the higher education institutions/universities listed below, provided the student has obtained the Associate Arts Diploma (AA) or Associate Science Diploma (AS) at the GMC. “This agreement provides our students with better access and the opportunity to pursue their educational goals. We are very honoured to be partners with AUM because it is an excellent university,” said Dr. James M. Mitchell, President of WCCS.

Under the agreement, students who pass the CCVC with a cumulative average of between 3.0 and 3.49 receive a grant of $1,000 per year and students with an average of $3.5 or more will receive $2,500 per year. There is no limit to the number of transfer students who can receive the scholarship allowance. At Georgia Military College, one of our core tasks is to create pathways for the successful transmission of our courses and courses in a four-year institution. Our SACSCOC accreditation ensures that many of the courses you take at GMC have moved into the four-year program of your choice (see course credit transfer information). In addition, GMC is making every effort to monitor articulation agreements (transfers) with four-year institutions to facilitate the transition. The agreement includes AUM transfer grants to WCCS students. The best recipients are selected by WCCS. Thousands of new Alabamas and sophomores begin their first university courses at our colleges before entering a four-year university. The smaller class sizes we offer mean more personalized attention, making it easier for you to move to the university experience. And you save money by starting with us! Courses at Alabama community colleges are less than half the cost of the same university courses you could take at a four-year university.

An outstanding credit is a temporary credit for a transfer course that is currently being assessed by the respective Auburn Credits Department. Once an equivalent has been determined by the department, the outstanding credit is withdrawn and the AU equivalent is allocated in its place. Students at the Chattahoochee Valley Community Centre in Phenix City have access to scholarships and other opportunities at Auburn University, Montgomery, through a new agreement between the two schools. In addition, the agreement includes downstream transfer, which allows students to complete their associate degree and develop their careers while acquiring their bachelor`s degree.
